#3 I'm a shorty walking tall

Something i have taken from the classroom and used in my nonacademic life is a , in my case, my faorite vocabulary word, oxymorron. For example the other day my brother was drinking water and he said, "this water is dry" and i yelled "OXYMORON" and he just looked at me like i was crazy and walked away. Also, lately I have been noticing many around me, especially in what i wear. For example the other day I wore shorts with a long-sleeve turtle neck and a jacket on. :)

#2 kill or be killed. Your on either end of the gun

Students compete against each other in the pursuit of a good education, people compete against each other for low paying jobs, and illegal immigrants compete against the law to strive for the option of a better life, than what they had, for their families. Basically, our society is like a game, either you kill or get killed, mostly, it all depends on what you want, and how far you're willing to go in order to achieve it.Competition can, to an certain point, be unhealthy. For example, a hunger strike, you are basically starving yourself with the hope that someone will notice you, and listen to your opinion on whatever it is you are striking against. If they understand you, they will probably strike with you, but if they don't, they will eat and tempt you, in order to break your concentration and your beliefs on whatever you think isn't right. Also, another form of competition is war. You see states fighting against each other, taking peoples lives like if it is theirs to take, and what is there to gain? Nothing but a couples mourn for their dead son, a widows screeching cry for her dead husband, and a part of a babies life silently crashing down because she will never know the man that would have once taught her that not all men are the same. No war (in the last few years) has ever been won, they have been tied or one sides backs down because they won't risk anymore of there people's lives. They last YEARS fighting, for nothing, just pride, but that pride is what has made our society, and our economy along with it, what it is now.
